(Articles 1 and 2 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan 'On the State Registry of Real Estate'; Sub-clause 3.0.28 of the 'Regulations on the State Registry Service of Real Estate under the State Committee on Property Issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan', approved by Decree No. 516 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 4, 2015).

Required documents:

·         Application (Article 10.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the State Registry of Real Estate");

·         A notarized power of attorney, if the application is submitted by a person other than the right holder (Article 10.3 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the State Registry of Real Estate");

·         Document confirming the payment of the state fee (Article 10.2.4 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the State Registry of Real Estate");

·         An order, housing lease agreement, or directive of the relevant executive authority on the allocation of living space from the state or public housing fund prior to the entry into force of the Housing Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (until October 1, 2009) (one of these 3 documents) (Article 8.0.11 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the State Registry of Real Estate");

·         An application of persons who reside together with the applicant, possess rights to the said apartment, and have reached the age of 18, as well as persons whose rights to the apartment are retained in connection with their temporary departure to another location, concerning their consent to the privatization of the apartment (Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Privatization of the Housing Fund in the Republic of Azerbaijan");

A reference from the housing maintenance organization on the persons possessing rights to the apartment and the socio-communal condition of the apartment (Form No. 2) (Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Privatization of the Housing Fund in the Republic of Azerbaijan");
