During January 2026, the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy registered 31,020 ownership rights over real estate and provided them with extracts. Out of the registered ownership rights, 5,594 (18%) accounted for primary registration, while 25,426 (82%) accounted for secondary registration.
Statistics of Ownership Rights on Real Estate Properties
In January 2026, the state registration of ownership rights was registered for 6,420 private residential and summer houses, 7,338 apartments, 16,184 land parcels, 271 non-residential buildings, 754 non-residential premises, 47 property complexes, and 6 multi-story residential buildings. Of these, 7,562 were registered in Baku, while the remaining part were registered in the regions.
Number of Technical Passports and Mortgage Agreements
During January of this year, 21,928 technical passports were issued, and 5,271 mortgage agreements were registered.
