In some cases, the submission of a certificate of the existence of real estate under the name of individuals and legal entities across the country is required for obtaining visas to travel abroad, court proceedings, and other social matters. This certificate is provided both in electronic and paper forms by the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy.

To obtain a certificate of real estate in ownership, individuals are required to provide an identity card, a birth certificate, and, if available, a marriage certificate; while legal entities are required to provide a notarized power of attorney or one certified by the legal entity, along with a scanned version of the registration certificate of the legal entity.

Persons wishing to obtain the certificate in paper form can apply with the required documents to ASAN Service centers and local regional offices of the "State Cadastre and Register of Real Estate" public legal entity.

To use the service online, users must access the "www.e-services.economy.gov.az" Electronic Services Portal and proceed to the "Obtaining a certificate of the existence of real estate" electronic service. In the opening window, the user must enter their information, log into their personal account, and submit an application to obtain the certificate. It should be noted that a video tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSXJgD4lTzc) has been provided for applicants using the electronic service.

The certificate is prepared within 15 business days and uploaded to the applicant's account. Pursuant to the Decision of the Tariff (Price) Council dated July 31, 2023, "On Regulation of Tariffs for Real Estate Registration, Technical Inventory, and Cadastre Services", a service fee has been established for the provision of this service.
